Yesterday evening when I was getting out of work, I read this post about a girl who wanted to be happy, but she didn’t established how, or what she considered “to be happy”. It made me think, or kind of analyze, what is happiness exactly and why is it the main goal for humans in their lifetime?
This was my answer to her post…
Probably happiness is overrated…
It is not even an action.
“to be happy”
“to be…
…happy?”
Look at it from the short term perspective,
The “try” more than the “be”.
“try happiness”
And the road to the goal
will be the goal itself.
It’s the “pursuit of happiness”
what fills us inside,
cause at the end,
happiness is like heaven;
everybody aspires to it
but once they get there
(if anybody gets there),
you won’t know about it.
Cause at the end
no one is completely happy,
there is something missing,
and that piece missing…
it’s the struggle to be happy
It is a real challenge you have given me…reading!!!
Well… welcome to the addiction 😉
It is overrated indeed!! So much that has turned into a myth…like you can never grasp it…no matter how hard you try
Who knows what happiness is in its pure and simplest way…maybe you charles!!
Hellow buddy…it is nice reading you
I’m so sorry I’m so late, where was I then? Where are you now?
