Muse loves me not

You’re in love with written words but you don’t know the sack that drags these bones.

Even the words coming out of this whiskey smelling mouth, as wise as they might sound, differ from what you dream of.

And you love the “you“ portrayed in every page because it describes a beauty you didn’t know resided in you.

So you might never meet the hand that commands the pen, nor will you contemplate the mind that possesses the hand, but you must embrace the muse that lives within you, for is the muse who inspires the mind.

Some truths better to leave unknown,
Some delicacies better to leave untouched
And some desires better not to satiate.
Cause simply put,
When you reach heaven with your fingers
Nothing on earth can please you,
And something hardly satisfy.

After tasting the ambrosia from your lips
The most fine of honeys is a bitter swig.
You’ve made me question my whole existence
And compare my life to a single weekend,
And it’s just not fair, cause time ain’t the same.
You’ve set a new curve for my desires
And no one else can make it even half way.
I waste my days looking for queens
To lessen the pass of a goddess on my skin,
And reality strikes me one more time;
I’m searching within the ordinary
for something I can’t find.
